kidneypains

I'm trying to diagnose myself but am young with no experience in kidney problems. Hoping some of you here can help me understand the problem...

I'm 22 years old. Whenever I wake up in the morning my lower back (kidneys) are in slight pain until I urinate. Once I urinate, there is no more pain during the day UNLESS I drank alcohol the night before.

If I drink 3-4 beers tonight, then tomorrow when I wake up they will have a "sore" feeling and be sore for the rest of the day until the night.

I've stopped drinking for 3 days and have drank nothing but water everyday for the past 3 days. BUT, yesterday I had only water, no alcohol, and when I woke up this morning I had more discomfort and slight pain in my lower back/kidneys until I urinated. While laying down it feels like I don't have to urinate. When I stand up and walk around it does (a little), but when I go to urinate it is a lot.

I'm 5'11, 120lbs, very skinny and small.

My urine was a healthy yellow color this morning. brightish yellow/clearish yellow.

Am I in the first stages of kidney failure? Kidney stone forming? Swollen kidneys?

It feels better when I urinate, the pain goes away after.

It is only in the morning when I wake up though - UNLESS I drank alcohol the night before. Then they are a "sore" feeling the entire day and night after I wake up, even after I urinate.

I drank 10 beers last night and made sure I urinated a lot before I went to bed.

I woke up with no pains in my kidneys and no pain today at all in my lower kidney area.

So I know it isn't my kidneys pumping alcohol out or not being able to function properly.

It is most likely a bacterial problem or beginning of an infection that my body is actively fighting...but it could be caused skeletally as I've learned they are connected.

Only hurting in the morning until urinating or walking around is strange.
I've read people who have the same problems.
I don't know.

Hopefully I'll be able to stop cracking my back and get off these cigs.
