I've gone from a size 16/18 to a size 10/12. I still see that size 16 when I look in the mirror. I find it very hard to see myself as being smaller... I still want to loose 20 more pounds but I can't!! I keep telling myself that I'll look thin when I loose the 20.. but it's been over a year and it's not going... I question if I would feel thin anyway..
I'm not sure how to change this... I have a very low self esteem.. I was told positive self talk would help but I CAN'T do that...:o
can anyone relate to me??

First of all, congrats on losing the weight! That's fantastic and you should be very proud of yourself!! Don't ever let anyone take that away from you!!
There are a lot of emotional issues that go along with being overweight. And when a person loses a significant amount of weight, those emotional issues still remain unless they are dealt with. Peoples' reasons for gaining a lot of weight in the first place are emotional in nature, and that's why people like Carny Wilson start other addictions like drugs or alcohol, because they never dealt with the reason why they gained so much weight in the first place.
You might benefit from seeking a counselor to talk about it. It's definitely a transition, and something that requires additional support. You have transformed your outer body and now it's time to work on your inner self to heal the things that caused to to gain the weight in the first place.
Don't give up. The fact that you made it this far is great! And it's a testament to your determination and motivation! Good luck!!
