Saw podatrist in Jan/Feb. Set up bunion/osteoectomy for May 22nd. He couldnt operate till March, Im going to WDW in April so we pushed it off.
There are times however that Im in agony. Taking 600mg prescribed Ibuprofen each day (can take up to 1800 per doc).
How much worse will this pain get? and how will I make it through 10days at WDW? anything I can do to help it?

I don't know what WDW is but oyu might try Aleve. It works well for joint issues.

try icing and elevating when you are resting
also, get a pair of wider sneakers/sandals and get a soft bunion splint that you can wear inside your shoes, as well as a soft gel toe separator to put between your big toe and 2nd toe.. these will help take the pressure off of the bunion and hopefully help minimize pain

yes - walt disney world
sometimes the toe feels broken
other times its the arch of the foot that hurts

For arch pain I would suggest orthotics inside sneakers or getting sandals like merrell or birkenstock that have arch support

i agree gym shoes would be the way to go. hope you can sit some while you are there. have a good time and i think at the end of the day you might try iceing because you may swell.
