Good luck with your quit! I am officially on day 7 today i didnt know in the beginning if i would make it this far or not but so far so good! I have been doing the chantix i was allergic to the patches but i think many have had success with them. and remember many of us have slipped and had one but if you do dont get discouraged just pick up and start again... good luck

Hi Raymond
Congrats on quitting smoking. Your doing great ;)
This is my 4th proper try of quitting smoking, I'm using the patch & gum this time. My 3rd attempt of quitting I used the patch & inhaler and that was prescribed to me by my doctor. The way my doctor seen it, it's better than smoking cigarettes.
Good Luck in your quit......keep in touch.

ray, if you're having trouble sleeping..do you wear the patch to bed, if so, that could do it. also please don't have a cig. while on the patch, you could get an overload of nicotine. my sis is a cardiac nurse...she has seen this happen alot with her cardiac patients.
i am using commit losenges, i'm allowed 9 a day, but have only been having 3-5 a day. my thought is the more nicotine we put in our bodies, the more cravings we will continue having...just my way of thinking, hope you are doing well......bevann
