Ay up folks.
About 2 years ago or so, I weighed around 210lbs and was unpleasantly overweight, so much so that my face had no edges.
Now I'm down to 154 lbs and I have a BMI of 23.4, which is well in the realms of normal weight. And I'm much happier with my physical appearance now.
The only problem I have with my appearance now is that there's a little bit of excess fat that hands around my chest and stomach that, despite doing more exercise than I've ever done before and being a lot fitter than ever before, I just can't seem to shake.
I work on my abs and my pectorals a lot and can feel underneath that both are firming nicely and there's some good muscle forming. The only thing is, neither of these can be seen because of this excess fat.
Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of those spots of gloop?
My main cardio exercise is running, and I average at about 13-15km/h

How long do you run? How's your diet? What's your body fat percentage?

Depends how I feel really. Most of the time (as I'm training for the RAF) I'll aim to beat last week's effort at a 2.4km run, which will only take about 10 minutes. But other times I'll feel like a good run and spend anywhere from 30-60 minutes running.
My diet, to be quite honest, is shocking. I've got very little money at the moment so it's generally whatever's in the house, which tends to not be a lot, and mostly just snacky things such as noodles. Other than that, if I'm having a good day, an omlette would be around somewhere in the day, and I tend to make sure I eat a good amount of fruit and start the day with a bowl of breakfast cereal.
I've no idea what my body fat percentage is. How do I find out?

Sorry, you need to pay better attention to your diet. All the work-outs in the world cannot make up for a poor diet. You are probably over-indulging in carbohydrates (i.e your "snacky" things....carb overload). You will be amazed to see what happens when you reduce the carbohydrate in your diet. Low carb diets have an amazing ability to slim you down like nothing else. And I am not talking about the typical advice to switch from "bad carbs" to "good carbs". I am talking about basing your diet on eggs, lean meat, fish, non-starchy vegetables, nuts, oils, cheese and minimal fruit (mainly berries). Get rid of the noodles/pasta, crackers, chips, potato, rice, corn, bread, bagels, fruit, juice, pop, sugary anything. You will lose the extra fat.

haha god dammit. I was hoping it wouldn't come down to the diet.
You know, i've lost about 2 stone in weight and slimmed down so much in the last 2 years from exercising, but not changing my diet at all. And now it's come to this!!
Well God dammit, I need to look hella sexy, so i may just do it. But dudes, shhh... don't tell anyone I'm on a diet!
