Latley I'd say the past several months I have had pain in my fingers making it almost impossible to do anything. Is 30 to young to have Arthritis? The pain is usually worse in the morning. By afternoon evening not so much. Any advice would help out alot. thanks!:)

specialneedsmom, I am 31 and in October my hands started swelling and were very painful, and I have had this every since. It has started to impact doing dishes, cooking and cleaning. On some days they hurt so bad I just can't stop rubbing them so the pain will stop. Also soon after my hands started, my feet did too, and right now I am sitting in my chair and I cannot do anymore. My feet are throbbing and sore. It is sad, and I am scared. I have talked to my dr who at first said that the body pain was being caused by my body releasing too much cortisol from too much stress. I can barely move in the morning.
Now, I have been diagnosed with myofascial pain syndrome, and fibromyalgia. My pain all started with my tmj flaring up and then my hands and feet and now I have muscle, joints, and bone pain everyday.
Have you thought about fibromyalgia? Good luck, and please write me back if you are having any other symptoms.

Thanks Kass for leaving me the message. I have thought about the pain being something more than Arthritis. Some mornings I can't do hardly anything. I have trouble washing dishes getting my kids ready for school. My hands only swelled up one time and when that happend I was scared to death . I could not use my hands at all then at all. I have not gone to see a doctor about this but I think I probably should just so I know what I am dealing with. It is hard for my family to under stand they think I am just being lazy when I don't want to do anything but sometimes I just can't. This moring the pain is not so bad but it seems like the more I use my hands the worse it gets. D oes that make sense? Anyway thanks so much for gettin g back to me I really feels good to here from someone who knows what your feeling.

I have pain in my fingers and toes too. I saw a Rheumatologist a couple of years ago who said it was arthritis. I wish Bextra were still available b/c it's the only thing that got rid of my joint pain and TMJ headaches. According to a couple of my Drs., I don't have Fibromyalgia.
Have you tried Celebrex. I have psoriatic arthritis with swelling in fingers, toes, and some pain hip joints too. Celebrex gives me enouogh temporary relief that I can function. Its same family (Cox-2 inhibitor) as Bextra but milder so it doesnt have the same bad side-effects. Ask your doc.
