Once every few months, after I shave my legs, I'll get a small purple, blood filled bump or two. I think they are ingrown hairs, but because of the bump and the blood I can't be entirely sure.

I had one that I poked at in the shower (it was a little tender to the touch, I know popping blood blisters is a bad idea). Afterwards, I washed it down with hydrogen peroxide, and I noticed the skin around where it burst is white. I can't be sure if it was that way before, or if the hydrogen peroxide did it.

Does anyone have any idea what these are? They heal completely after about a week or two, leaving a small pink scar that eventually fades away. I only get these on the top of my thighs.
