They did a hearing test my low range pitch is gone in both ears... so I have cut down coffee to 2 big cups a day shall I taper that off or go straight to decaf? can i hve no coffee at all or is this trial and error..as with salt he said limit to under 2000mg a day..also do i have to do this with sugars and the odd glass of wine...? this is a pain in the A**. also I still have the foggy feeling especially in stores... supposed to fly to the UK in 2 weeks.... any info would be a great help.....
also is it a given that total deafness will come in the end?

Thanks B

To avoid caffeine headaches, you should taper off. But do it fairly quickly, switching to decaf ASAP as I understand that caffeine can have a pronounced effect on Meniere's. I've also read that the low/no salt diet may not help that much...but it's worth a shot to see if it helps you.

Best of luck,
Dan
