i am concerened about my brother.he is usually very active and generally well. a few days ago, he started complaining of a headache. but this has got increasingly worse, to the point he had to go to hospital twice. he is in agony. light hurting eyes, pain travelliing down neck, pain in ears.
he is not the type to visit doctors, so i know he is in severe pain, but they say it is just a cold!! a cold to me, is a runny nose, this headache has been constant for 3 days. has anyone had this, and got any answers.

I presume the doctors did some sort of examination?

Tell him to take a Drixoral Repetab twice a day, and two Advil every four hours.

Fill a basin with boiling water, add about 1ml or 2ml of eucyliptus oil, put a towel over the head, and inhale the steam.

if his pain is caused by sinusitis, this should releive it quite quickly..... if it doesnt, a trip to a physician for a thorough examination would be in order

:(thankyou for replying. he was yesterday taken to another hospital after another severe night of pain. they are testing him for a bleed on the brain, or viral meningitis. he has had IV antibiotics which he is responding to well, but still no further forward on diagnosis.:(
