So, if you read my thread from before, i have frequent pvc's. my doctor gave me a higher dosage of my verapamil, upto 240mg. it seems to be working, during the day i'll barely have any pvcs, but during the night time they return while im in bed, prolly cause my HR is slowing down. also, if i were to take a nap, it seems they would also return then, other than that, durring a normal active day they are gone. anyone else have an experiance like this?

do you have high blood preasure?

i have mildly high bp, my doc told me to watch out for it. but its good tho cause my pvc's would be 6-12 every minute, now they are 1-2 every 5-10 minutes.....big big decrease

sounds like your on the right track

its still frequent during night time, maybe cause my heart slows down as i relax, but maybe i should give it more than 4 days on the new meds to kick in

how long does it take for this medicine to fully start working? i had 5 good days and 1 "normal" pvc day since iv been on this medicine. Just wondering. thanks!

ya i mean it ticks me off cuase when i had my monitor on, my pvc's where in full flare, but when i took it off, poof, nothing, allday saturday, sunday, monday, yesterday and today, i might have had between 100-1000 compaired to the 11,000-15,000 i usually do. after the first day of taking the verapamil, i saw results, i had pvcs at night only and when i did have them they would come and go, then thursday of my monitor, first hour of having it on i had nothing then they just came back. and friday when i took it off, about 3 hours after it came off, i stoped having them.... im not sure if i should call my doctor and tell him this before he looks at my results...i hope everything is ok T_T

do you only have pvcs? or fast rate also?
