I started trying to eat healthier and eating my cereal with super skim milk, eating weight watchers soups for lunch and veggies and fruits for snacks and yogurt light kind. I also eat pretzels for snacks as well at times. For dinner i eat weight watchers meals or healthy choice or something like that and then treat myself to weight watchers desserts or something light. I exercise on treadmill for 30 minutes a day and doing sit-ups everyday or even 6 days a week. I have been doing this for a week and lost 10lbs which seems like alot but now i am not losing anything since i lost those 10lbs, i dont believe i have done anything different so why wouldnt i be losing and just staying at a certain weight? I think 10lbs is a lot to lose quick but just staying at that weight and not changing what i am doing is concerning me. Has this happened to anyone or am i doing something wrong with my diet?

After a week the weight loss won't be so fast. You wouldn't want to lose too much too fast or otherwise it will go back on

Yes, what vicc said. The first week you always lose the most weight, everytime i go on a diet, the first week i lose around 8lbs than after that anywhere from 1-3lbs.

This can definitely happen with a quick weight loss... you may take a bit longer to lose more weight. Just keep up the good work and it will happen!

For me, after hitting a plateau I didn't know what to do. I was being pretty healthy but wasn't losing weight. I have been eating less processed meals, like the Lean Cuisines and Healthy Choice meals and have actually been losing more weight without them. I think it's also because I do the mini meals throughout the day. I eat something small but I eat more often and keep my meals balanced. Make sure to drink plenty of water too! Sometimes soups are high in sodium (plus pretzels have salt) so if you don't drink enough water, you can be holding in excess water weight.

Most likely your body is just adjusting to the weight loss you have had so far... just keep working and don't give up!

Hello and congrats on your weight loss so far!!
Let me start by saying that losing 10 pounds of fat in one week is humanly impossible. You would have to burn 35,000 calories over that one week!
Most of the 10 pounds you lost was water weight. Therefore, the following weeks will not result in such amazing weight loss results simply because there is no more extra water lying around to get rid of. You're going to start losing pure body fat, and that takes time. So, just keep doing what youre doing and you should be able to expect 1-3 pounds lost each week.
Good luck!!!

I agreee with what most everyone else said. You will always lose a lot at first and then slow down. The healthy amount to lose in a week is only 1-2 pounds. Losing more than that in a week is not healthy and probably won't be lasting. You are doing the right thing by exercising and eating right. Be patient :) If you truly do stop losing for several weeks in a row, try adding 10 minutes to your walk or adding a higher intensity exercise to your workout. Then it will start up the weight loss again.

I agree with everything said and would also like to add that you are definately over working! working out 6 days a week is way too much and needs to be cut down to 3 or 4 max,

If you give me the following stats I could give you a suitable program if you wish! What I will need is

Sex:
Age:
Weight:
Height:
%Body fat:(if unknown how much you would like to loose)
