My daughter is on risperdal but her psychologist said she wanted to take her off and put her on abilify because the risperdal was causing her to gain too much weight. Also she said my daughter has behavors of bipolar too. She told me to put my daughter on timed released meletonin also to help her control her moods during the day. Is there anybody that have these meds for your child and if so how is it working. Any side effect? My daughter is not verbal so I need to know what I have to look for if she can't tell me if she does have side effects. Thanks for any info. May God bless you all.
