View Full Version : Kitchen Utensils for hand problems

I don't think that I have arthritis, but I have been diagnosed with bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis and desquevernis (sp??) of both thumbs. For years I have had problems peeling potatoes and doing other things because my hand would cramp up, etc...

I have bought some kitchen utensils by oxo and they have helped a bit, especially the can opener. Lately though I have had a hard time even feeding my 7 month old with a baby spoon.

Does anyone know where I can look for products designed for those who either have arthritis or for the elderly? I hope that "elderly" comment doesn't offend anyone.

TIA, Maggie

There's a company called Gold Violin that makes products for disabilites or people with arthritis, etc. You can do a search for the company. I bought a few things from them and found them to be useful. Hope this helps.
