Well its not really pain.... more like a pin prick, only not quite as painful. Im a 32 year old female, not in the best of shape, and need to lose weight. I have stopped smoking and dont drink or use drugs. I have experienced anxiety attacks for the past 2 years after a traumatic event. I have pretty much rid myself of the attacks by relaxation and "power of the mind". Im a very happy person with a great family. My problem is, I have been experiencing little "twinges" in my chest, about two inches below my collar bone. It is mostly on the right side, occasionally on the left. They only last for a second, and are not very painful at all. They do not occur after excercize or exertion, nor do they radiate to my limbs or back. I do notice that a short time afterward, i experince gas, (sometimes i can even feel it traveling down to my stomach) and mucousy stool. The pain is easy to deal with, as it is not bad, but the problem is, Im worried that it may be heart related, and this can sometimes bring on VERY UNWANTED anxiety attacks. Is it possible for gas to be felt so far up in my chest? Im doing my best to avoid taking any medications for anxiety, but these little pains are not helping. I would appreciate any ideas or advice. Thanks!
