Hi,
I've been mailing about neuropathic issues with little/no response from anyone.
I developed carpal tunnel but I think it is more that carpal tunnel... my wrists and sometimes till my arms pain/burn.

Recenlty from the hands the pain has gone to my feet where the nerve leading to the foot somewhere is my ankles seems to be on fire.

Is this ALS ?Is ther a hope ?Is there a cure ?Is there a treatment ?How long before I am disabled ? I am only 30 years old.

I am prescribed Neurontin but will start today.

There is a condition called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy that causes the burning sensation that you have mentioned. Also this condition can travel from your arms and wrists to other parts of your body. This condition causes alot of burning pain as well as intense pain such as throbbing or a stabbing type of pain. There is a board here for RSD which lists all the different types of symptoms for RSD. Also you can check it out on the internet there are alot of articles about this condition. I'm not no doctor so I can't tell you that this is what you have but you can check it out for yourself. It could be one cause of your burning pain. Any type of nerve damage or pinched nerve can cause a burning sensation as well. Like I say it's a suggestion that you can check out for yourself and I hope you can find some answers soon and also find some relief.

Hi, you really should be evaluated by a neuro and get a proper blood workup done and other testing done, whilst Neurotin may mask the symptoms a little it does nothing in finding the cause of your problem.
good luck anyway :)
