my DH has to call in every two months. They charge $400+. How often do you have to check on your pacemaker's battery? Thanks.

it varies depending on the age of the pacemaker and the model.. the older they get the more frequent you get them checked.. one a month per phone is not uncommom in older ones/ most every 3 months by phone and ever 6 months to once a year in the office.. hope this helps
