I need help . . . was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about a year and a half ago. I have been on STD since November 2007. My rheumatologist put me on full disability through January 2009. Now my employer <removed> :(, is challenging my disability. They sent me to not one, but two IMEs. In a 10-15 minute appointment an IME doc wrote a 27 page report that was exactly the opposite of my regular physician.

I need an attorney. I live in Tustin, CA in Orange County. Any recommendations or attorneys I should stay away from would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Bill, I don't know any attorneys there who may help you. Hope you find help quick, because this is such a debilitating thing to have. But I do have a suggestion that may help you feel a little better until you find a good lawyer. I have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, as have a couple of my friends. We got a lot of pain relief by cutting out all gluten. When I do get into the tiniest bit of gluten now, I can barely walk the next day, because my joints hurt so bad. Good luck with your attorney search!

Dang, Bill, that absolutely stinks! Wish I knew of a bully of an attorney, but will hope you find one soon! What a crock!
