Had about 3 weeks of rediculous stress at work, can now barely swallow, throat hurts, belching etc. Nothing else changed except stress level and now I'm back to square one. Sad thing is, how can you go through life without any stress at all? I did for a few months and my LPR was almost gone. Now it's back with a vengence. Better look for new job I guess.

Sorry to hear about this setback, Neddy.
Are you sure that stress ALONE triggers your symptoms? Could there be something else contributing to the symptoms as well? A chronic condition maybe> sinusitis or some such... I am starting to wonder. I am even beginning to suspect my medications for having caused the throat/sinus/runny eyes/hoarseness symptoms. Fact is, I don't seem to be able to overcome this hurdle at all. Even my nausea seems worse now. It's just like having a miserable, never-ending, stomach upsetting cold with numerous reflux episodes, choking, coughing, gagging, crying and some chest pain thrown in for a good measure.
My stress levels are fairly constant - I am good at stress management thanks to several seminars I participated in over the years. I don't think stress affects my symptoms to a great extent.
I hope you'll find some relief.

I've done nothing different, no sinusitis, nothing. Have changed nothing. I was under immense stress when I originally got the reflux, it was getting less an less at time went on. Then had 3 weeks of terrible stress and it's back with a vengence. Doesn't point to anything else in my opinion. My LPR is caused by stress. Whether the antibiotics I took originally helped set it off I'm not sure, all I know is stress brings it back with a vengence.
