View Full Version : MVP -- symptoms when exercising or standing!

Hi! I was diagnosed with MVP probably a year ago -- went for the ultrasound and saw the problem and the blood that goes where it is not supposed to -- the leaky part. My questions is this: do those of you with this feel these symptoms? When I stand to fast from lying down or even get up to quickly at times, I lose my vision for a few seconds -- ie see stars. Mostly in the middle of the night when I get up to go to the bathroom -- it is the worst then. Also, my chest gets very heavy when I exercise very hard. I have a bit of trouble catching my breath when running or spinning super hard. Is this part of the condition? My doc wanted me to do a stress test, but I have never followed through on it. I was thinking I should consider it. I hate the heavy feeling in my chest at times and wonder if medication might make it easier to exert myself at the gym. Now, I just kinda backdown off of what I am doing when it gets too uncomfortable. TIA!!!!
