I had a pacemaker replacement about 8 days ago. I have AF. I have been taken off coudamin until the doctor sees me which is another ten days. Does anyone know how safe it is to be off of blood thinner that long? thanks

it depends on your PT and INR levels.. since you are on coumadin i assume that your levels are checked periodically - if you are concerned with the length of time you have been off of it - contact your cardiologist and see if your levels need to be checked... 10 days should be ok but put your mind at ease by asking :) best of luck

How long was the procedure to do the implant? Also, was it an outpatient or did you have to spend some time in a hospital?
