View Full Version : Having diarrhea more frequently...usually at night

I've been noticing more frequent episodes of diarrhea within the past month or so, and a lot of the times I am either waking up in the middle of the night because of it from the unbearable burning/soury feeling or I will have it in the morning ours at work. I have a lot of gas when it starts too and it relieves the discomfort a bit before the feeling comes back and I just have to go to the bathroom (sorry if this is TMI) Im eating the same foods as normal, the only change that has happened is that I quit smoking but I doubt that caused anything. And its not the kind where it last all day or anything, usually it takes about 10 minutes to get everything out and then Im good...until next time which might either be in the next day or so or up to a week, but it keeps coming back. I will also usually have a bad cramp in my side which causes me to not even be able to sit straight.

Anyone have this problem or know what to do about it?
