View Full Version : What does a low IGM result mean?

I have been told that my IGM levels are around 20 and should be around 60. My WBC count has also been between 3.6 for the past 6 months. I feel weak and tired a lot and have been battling ongoing painful skin infections/inflammation as well as frequent mouth/tongue ulcers that come and go.

I am going to be restested I think in the next couple of weeks but what does this possibly point towards regarding the immune system or anything else that could be wrong with me?

- Thanks

I have went through alot of what you are referring to excluding the skin infections
I turned out to have lyme disease very well documented IgM IGG and Genome cell positive from tissue biopsy for borroellia
Sometimes you don't even remeber a a deer tick bite because in early stages they are about the size of a pin head
My cd-57 immune test 45
Thrush in my throat fatigue nerve pain swelling of knees and ankles stroke last year
I have been on IV antibiotics for 16 months
Whatever you do avoid all steroids with an immune level of 20 These suppress your imune system and not increase them as some people think
see an auto immune specialist or a lyme doctor if you suspect that
take care and don't give up on finding an answer
Take care
