Has anyone ever tried this for MAV I think it is also called Clonazepam, is it just for anxiety or used for MAV? What were your experiences with it?

I was on it for 2 days. A neurologist gave it to me early on in my illness before I had a diagnosis. It made me very kooky. But it turned out that it interacted with my birth control pills so it had a stronger effect on me. I would just start off with a tiny dosage.

was it just for the dizzies and anxiety or was it used to treat MAV?

It was for the dizziness as far as I know. Definitely not for MAV. The doctor could have been thinking anxiety and didn't tell me, but I don't think so. I think she was trying to take the edge off while she tried to diagnose me.

Klonopin can be prescribed for Dizziness and MAV. I am prescribed that in conjunction with Verapamil and Zoloft for MAV by a headache specialist in NYC. Scott has listed some articles on this as well. As long as you do not abuse the drugs at low dosages .50 they can be effective for MAV and expecially if you have coexisting anxiety holding back your MAV it becomes a viscous cycled

would it prevent the migraines or just handle the anxiety? could it be used by itself to handle MAV?
