I just got the results of new CT scan This one says "several calcifications in the spleen suggestive of prior granulomatous infection" Also several hyperdense calcifications seen scattered throughout the left kidney varying in size and location, some in the periphary" All I can find on the spleen thing is granulomatous disease, which doesn't seem right as it says it usually starts in childhood. And hyperdense seems to mean a bunch of different things. Here I am, asking for input again. Pain comes and goes, still have blood in urine, and anemic with low WBC. Any input would be appreciated.

I was told that calcifications could be kidney stones.

calcifications can be stones or something that blocks like colestrol

the only thing is, when the Dr.'s were reading the results to me (before I picked them up myself), they said there was no indecation on kidney stones. I'm just so confused. I will definately post if I get an answer to this. Hopefully that will be this thursday.
