After three months and numerous Dr appts, I went to a GI a few days ago. I was told there's a good chance it is acid reflux-one of the things my family dr originally suspected. I'm going to have an EGD and Bravo test in two weeks. The one symptom I just don't understand is this weird skin crawling, tingling and sometimes numbing feeling that I especially get on my neck, face and lips. Occasionally I will get it on my back and stomach as well. It gets worse as the day gets later. I'm thinking that it might be anxiety. Does anyone else have this. It drives me crazy.

Hey! OMG! I'm going through the same thing you are! I thought I was the only one....yeah it drives me crazy I have acid reflux and was scared that I had something else because of the tingling feeling but I guess it's part of it. I'm glad to now find someone who is going through what I am.

:) I'm so glad that you replied!!! This whole skin tingling thing has really been scaring me. Sometimes I feel like something is crawling on me- so annoying. I'll just be more relieved once I get my EGD done next week so I will know for certain if it is acid reflux. Has the skin tingling been a symptom of yours for a long time? I'm just wondering how long I will have to put up with it.

Hey! yeah the tingling is everyday for about a month now and really getting on my nerves. I think it gets worse though the more I think about it. But yeah I know what you are going through. It puts all types of bad thoughts into your head like "Oh great, do I have something serious wrong with me? Or is this mild?" I dunno...I think that you will get better once you go on meds that is if you do have acid relux..
I hope that you get better and try not to think about it...makes it worse!:)

I have been experiencing a lot of the same symptoms you described--all the GERD symptoms, plus this weird twitching/crawling/numbness thing in the neck, and somtimes around the jaw and lips. Did you get anything resolved??
