Hi worrywort, I've Botox injections for severe muscle spasms in my neck which didn't really help. But I have heard of them for nerve pain. Some do have sucess with Botox injections. The only thing about Botox are, they're given every 3 months and they're expensive. Try doing some research on the internet about them there's plenty of info about them. I hope they will help your mother.

Hi worrywort,
I have had the botox injections in the back of my neck. They didn't work for me but I also DON'T have what they thought I had. It only hurts a little while they are injecting it but there is no long time pain from the botox after the injections. And Yes, they are VERY expensive unless you have an insurance plan that pays for them. They can only do up too 200 units at once and every 3 months. Good Luck and hope your mom feels better
