I just got my results from my DEXA Scan...My T-scores are
1.8 in the spine and 1.7 in my hip. She said I did show an improvement from 3 years ago. I have been lifting weights and working out faithfully so I am hoping that is the reason for the improvement. My results said i am
15% to 20 % below normal. Are these scores okay? any comments will be appreciated. I don't have my numbers from the previous test. thanks bride527

bride527,
Congratulations. It looks like you are in the osteopenia range which is much better than having osteoorosis. It's encouraging that exercise and weight lifting has raised your bone density. I wish that would work on me. You might want to get your previous scores so you can compare.

Hi there,
Could you please tell me what weight excercises you did to build your bone density. I would really appreciate that. I really need excercise to help build my spine, since my spine density is low.

sincerely

Inder
