Just passed a 6mm calcium stone. It was 3 weeks of pure agony. Now I am told that I have four more stones, two 4mm and two 2mm. However, my urologist only said to drink plenty of water and come back in six months. The man was so friendly but gave me no information. I left his office scratching my head. My question is, are these four stones causing my kidney function to decline. My EGFR is 37 and my creantine is 1.5. This shows that I have moderate kidney damage. I will be going to a Kidney Doctor in 3 weeks. Anyone out there have the problem of low kidney function due to stones? I also have cysts in the kidneys. My primary care dr. saw my EGFR levels going down and down, but did nothing. I have high B/P and diabetes which are under control. Thanks!

i am no doctor
however i have the understanding if they are not blocking anything it should be okay with the kidney function
however since you are a diabetic you may have damade already to go along with the stones
i would call the doctor and ask him
thanks God you got the stones out
they are so painful
