Hi everyone,

Happy Easter to you all.

Has anyone been on Arcoxia (etoricoxib)? I am taking Arcoxia, leflunomide and Pariet and I am having terrible dizziness. The room is spinning three or four times a day. This morning when I woke up I opened my eyes and the room was going round and I couldnt stop it, it lasted 5 mins. My arthritis has improved on Arcoxia but I am concerned about the dizziness and not being too with it, I even walked into gents loo the other day!!!!!!!!!! Comments on this drug would be appreciated. GP has said stop the arcoxia for few days then start it again and see if dizziness starts again.

Hi Wen,

Thanks for your reply. glad to hear you are not too bad at mo. Physio helps, I had it on my neck and it was good to feel better from it. Frankie says woof woof (most of the day to be honest) A blade of grass only has to waggle and he is off!! He has made life a lot better for me he is so sweet. If you get moving better and arthur under control, will you be trying for your baby? I really hope you do and you tell us some good news soon. I worked with a girl of 25 who was absolutely riddled with arthritis, very badly disfigured and in constant pain, and one day she walked in and told us her news, she was pregnant, we were all so pleased for her but worried about the pain and the effect it would have on her body. Well, she sailed thru the pregnancy, had a 10lb baby, and the last I heard she had had another (I havent seen her for a few years). It seemed to calm the arthritis while she was pregnant. She told me it flared badly after the birth, but we all know what thats like, so I am hoping you have good news soon. Take care of yourself, love Ronnnie x
