I post on other threads but thought I would put a question out here. I have very low testosterone, lh, fsh and the only other thing even near abnormal is my ufc of 11 on quest's scale of 3-48. I am asking because even with testosterone I have severe fatigue, insomnia, mental fog and a kind of burning and tingling in my knees and left hand, sometime right and no one seems to be able to help.
I did take a medrol dose for severe sinus inflammation, and I know this is an obvious result but all the joint pain and tingling\burning went away but the mental fog cleared as well as some good sleep.....I am just fishing but is it possible that a ufc of 11 is maybe too low for me even if it's with in range?I have a ton of other symptoms that sound like low cortisol but again I am desperate to find some help.

The low LH and FSH may be a pituitary problem.

If you think your cortisol may be off, you might see about an ACTH stim test.

it's a pituitary problem for sure they just don't know why. MRI's show normal (have had two head injuries but everything appears normal)....ACTH is one of the few things I have not had tested so that will be something to ask the new endo, my current one has no idea so he is sending me to a teaching hospital. He thinks it's something called kallmans syndrome but he is really only well versed with diabetics. I guess there is always hope the next doctor can help....

Did they test your IGF-1? That is the most commonly lost after a car accident... it mimics a many of the same symptoms as Cushing's.

Igf-1 was just right in the middle of where it should be.

Have you been tested for Hashimoto's thyroiditis? It slowly destroys your thyroid, interferes with the pituitary gland and while mucking with those two.. make you feel like a horse's backside and kicks your adrenal gland's tail to boot.

You should get a full thyroid panel run lab codes are: TSH, Ft3, Ft4, T3, T4 T3 Uptake, and TPOAb and TGAb.

For adrenals: Blood cortisol, blood (fasting) ACTH, saliva cortisol, DHEA Sulfate

For Pituitary: PTH

For blood chemistry balance: Ferritin, B12, and Vit D should be done in addition to the general blood chem panel.

Be prepared it is a lot of blood. My tech took 11 vials.. the little vampire. But if there is an issue with the thyroid that is AI in nature it will show up. If you have had the thyroid tests done.. get a copy of the report and post the lab results and ranges.. it will help us get a good picture.

That appointment is a month out but I will post as soon as I get some labs done.
