That is the name of the blood tests. They will draw your blood.

Like Phovo said, they just draw blood, and you do not have to fast. It's just to check the general health of your liver. If anything comes back elevated, your doctor may want to further investigate with some other tests. Hope this helps!

Just a little bit blood to test the enzymes (ALT, AST). if elevated, your doctor might ask for an abdominal ultrasound test.
