View Full Version : SLEEP PROBLEMS

DOCTORSLETMEDOWN

I have alot of trouble sleeping or resting I guess I should say.
Are sleep issues hep related.
Seems no matter if I go to bed early or stay up late I awake at the same time & can't go back to sleep.
I toss & turn all night & awake frequently & it drives my wife nuts.
Lately I get sleepy during the day but regardless I can never seem to sleep straight through for any length of time.
I'm not treating so it's not from that.
I had a sleep study done quite some time ago & they claimed I slept 6 hours & I know for a fact I didn't.
The guy that did the test was new & said he used to hang sheetrock for a living.
That made me feel real comfortable with his evaluation.
Good ol' HMO's AH!! the lengths they go to to offer us the best that money can buy.
Nothing against sheetrockers. ( LOL )

Hey Howdy DRSLMD-
Not being a expert [or sheetrocker] I will only relay my perssonal experiance, no matter what time I go to sleep or even how tired I am I always wake up at 6:30 am, people get coditioned, when people go though a stressfull time they wake up constantly as things upset them, or worrie them even as they sleep as dreams trigger emotions.[took dream studies in psychology in college]

Now I have been following your updates and posts in cyberworld and I know for a fact you went though a very stressfull time the last several months, that, even if you are "though" the stressful time, you will tend to wake often because you become conditioned over time.

I know I wake up only if a dream becomes to intense, I am a very Vivid dreamer, and wake up just to check out reality, he he or what I conceive reality to be, also as we age we tend to need less sleep, hmmmm I am not sure if the person who wrote that was Rip Van Wrinkle, and most will only need 6-7 hr's a day.
OR NONE of the above-he he.
Boy you really earned your "handle" -DRSLETMEDOWN--- sheetrocker huh [Me too- nothing against sheetrockers]

Like hearing from you, You be well +
