Ok so I went to see the neurologist today as my ENT said he didnt think I have vestibular problems and have migraines....well this neurologist didnt seem too convinced she was surprised when I actually feel a migraine it only last an hour to an hour and a half. She just didnt seem too convinced that it was migraine related and didnt really help me much....I am so done with doctors everyone telling me what they think i DONT have but not caring whether we know what I really do have...Plus she is worried about this diet as she thinks I shouldnt lose any weight as I am only 110lbs. It was very frustrating she told me some vitamins and basically said live with it.....then i went to the pet store to pick out a fish and I had that wierd foot feeling. It felt like i was walking on squishy foam and my legs felt like jelly and they would collaspse at any second!! It was scary when I told my husband the floor was too squishy he told me it was concrete....why would i be feeling stuff like that if it was migraines??? Guys seriously I need some advice I dont know what the hell to do and apparently no doctor cares or wants to help me....ADVICE!!!

Im sorry to hear that your neuro has NO clue what is going on. I would honestly get info from Charlotte about her doctor in Boston. I think it is worth the money as well as the drive. You really need to nip this in the butt and in order to do that you need the right doctor. I was hoping to hear a good post from you about your neuro.

D&S...my neuro who is very popular in Portland didn't have a clue...most don't. MAV is rather a new diagnosis to many.
I don't know what else to tell you.
1. If you cannot go to Boston, which I totally understand...I would do the diet (again, it is a very healthy diet...and you won't lose weight if you eat well). You can eat meats, homemade frosting and sugar cookies, or gingersnap cookies..you can have white chocolate, meats of all kinds, fish, chicken...american cheese, macaroni, rice, butter...so many things. See how that works.
2. Secondly, I would get a script of Noritriptyline 10 mgs...1x a day. Try for a few weeks and see if you see a difference.
Just my two cents.

Yeah I am def sticking with the diet i have only cheated once in almost 2 weeks i had a cheeseburger while iI was out today....are there any fast food choices that are a lesser evil when you are starving and an hour and a half away from home?? She gave me a list of a few different dietary supplements so I picked up Mag-ox which I started today and told her I wanted to give the diet a month or so to work and give the vitamins a chance and if I was still feeling bad would start choosing a medication to try but I want to try this first just on the off chance I can avoid meds....If I cant avoid them then I will deal....She seemed to think if I got rid of the anxiety all my symptoms would go away so maybe she thought I was a loon??I would like to get that under control but again another med.....and I know yu all might think I am just being a baby but seriously even over the counter cold meds make me very sick so I am just trying to get as much a handle on this med-free as I can and if I cant then yeah I will have no choice....as far as the drug classes I was leaning towards the beta blockers but she advised against it since my blood pressure is naturally so low....so it is between anti-seizure and anti-depressants if I need a med......sigh....so VRT's?? Yes?? No?? Bad?? What are the chances I could have MAV AND Labs??

Have no idea...without tests or a doc who knows his/her stuff...only guessing.
