I awoke from my sleep last night feeling like I was strangled & had a hard time getting my breath back.
It really freaked me out.
I had a taste & smell in my nose & throat like after you have thrown up.
And it was like heartburn from hell.
Finally I got some water down & quit coughing & fell back asleep & this morning I seem ok.
Every once in a while lately I get strangled on nothing but my own saliva & start choking.
I'm on prilosec for my feflux / gerd & haven't had heart burn in forever.
? SOUND FAMILIAR ?

The getting strangled and choking in my sleep sounds very familiar, the way I solved that- is I did not P*** off the wife before I went to bed. he he harr.

ahhemm- I do not know but it sounds like you have an acid reflux symtom, hey pal talk to your doc soon, people have been known to wake up dead that way.
