Just thought I would drop in for a quick update. Received the word last month that I was testing negative after 24 weeks of Peg Interferon. This was not unexpected as a few of you may remember I had the same results after the first half of a 48 week treatment of Interferon back in 00-01. Unfortunatley I relapsed 6 months later. Whether or not I relapse again is unknown but my blood work has indicated nothing but excellent numbers since my initial treatment concluded. The fact I tested positive was a bummer but it didn't mean the end of the world. I now have 20 more weeks to do and then that's about it for me. Either I stay negative or I don't. Because I changed my life style some 3 years ago, (no alcohol, drugs or irresponsible behavior) I feel confident I will live to the ripe old age of 'whatever'.
Thanks (to those of you who know me) for your support.
