Has anyone heard of the Laser treatment for peripheral neuropathy?
My wife has been offered a series of 15 treatments over a five week period. The chiopractor estimates 80 to 90 precent improvement in sensation and balance.

Hi Vern. I would like to know how that turns out if she has it done. I have not heard of that and have done extensive research on this disease. Is hers in all four extremities? If so, at what level?

I would be inclined to ask the chiropractor if he offers a 100% money back guaranty if it is not successfull
I have had Lazor acupuncture for muscle spasms, it worked for a short while but it doesn't last for very long., i have never heard of it either for neuropathy, but will be interested to know how it would repair damaged axons, Myelin sheaths and small fibres as well.
The only other thought i have is, if the neuropathy is caused by compression some were on the spinal cord and he knows of a way to release that pressure, now that would be interesting to see the outcome.

Hope you will let us know how this turns out.

Hope the chiropractor is not like my audiologist., just money hungry. He sold me hearing aids for $7,800 and now I find better hearing aids for $3,500.

You may want to ask your doctor about Anodyne therapy. It sounds similar to the 'laser'. http://www.anodynetherapy.com/what_is_anodyne.htm
It helped me! I had severe nerve damage in my feet from a bout with septic shock. I believe it is more of a temporary relief.
