I have had great success taking calcium and am trying to help someone else improve her IBS. She is worried that taking calcium could bring on kidney stones - has anyone any information on this, please?? I remember reading ages ago that it doesn't, but she wants more proof than that!!

Kidney stones are caused not only by calcium, but other things as well. I have had a 24 urine test to determine the cause of my stones and mine were calcium. From what I have read, some people just don't handle calcium well and also they do not stay hydrated enough. This can create a kidney stone problem. But that is by no means the only way you can get stones.
Tell your friend, the calcium is worth a try to help the IBS.
Good luck,
