I've knocked around a thousand possibilities as to what is either causing my dizziness or playing a part in it re-occurring so many times and for so long.

Here are some of the things (listed below) that I think play a part, and I'm wondering
#1, has anyone experienced these in correlation to their dizziness
#2 if so, has it been part of your diagnosis with a professional

TMJ or other jaw issues?
Middle ear plugging, pressure or actual diagnosis of problem?
Birth control such as DepoProvera, Nuvo or the pill?
Years of flying (air pressure on planes)?
Neck injury (even from many years ago) - that would cause specifically, BPPV years later?

Another question...has anyone used a CT scan to actually see and diagnose that they have crystals in their ear in regards to BPPV?

Thank you for any feedback

Hi! I haven't had any of those things with my dizziness, but I have seen others mention TMJ/teeth grinding as well as hormonal issues. The hormonal issues I've heard about relate to perimenopause, but I imagine that the pill might be capable of causing dizziness...I know it can cause bad headaches. I've also heard that flying can cause BPPV. As for neck injury, I think there is a kind of dizziness called cervicogenic dizziness that can result from such an injury.
