Please help. In april I had unprotected oral sex. Giving. I was tested for hiv mid feb and then a couple of weeks after that by 2 different places. I beleive the time frame was about 8 1/2 months and then 9 months. They both were negitive. Well I just got tested again at 10 months and it was positive. What are the chances of it being false positive. Please any info would be great. I thought they should of caught it by the first test.

In 10 months you never had a any other sexual relations? Any at all?
Do you have cancer or hep? i heard that some people with comprimised immune systems have late seroconversion sometimes. Please go talk to you doctor for another test. this is a case worth studying.

No, I haven't had sex with anyone else. During the time I was tested I went to the E.R. and had all kinds of scans and test done, which came back normal. I've been tested twice for hep. My doctor didn't tell me about my hep test results so I assume that it was negitive. I'm so scared.

Well your situation is really strange.I know it is possible to get hiv for moral sex but is rear.Only 5% . I heard that six months is conclusive.
Why did you go to the ER?

I went to the E.R. because I was having stomach pain which was over nine months after possible exposure. Then I went carenow(which is like an E.R.), and they ran an hiv test and hep and it came back negitive. Doctor told me that he thought that would be a good test. And then just to have peace of mind I went to my local heath department and had the test again the next following week and it came back negitive. The second one would have been ten months after possible exposure. The nurse there was really confident that it would be a good test. I really feeling sick right now.
