Sometimes for no reason I'll get this feeling come on that starts in the top of my chest and neck and feels like someone is squeezing my heart. It hurts so bad and the only thing that stops it is to drink water. It feels like it's in that little hollow of my throat. Anyone have any idea what this is? My sister has the same thing and we call them our fake heart attacks.

When I get heartburn (which is rare), it is similar to what you describe. I would describe it as a tightness in my chest.

Of course the obvious suggestion is to see a doctor, to be sure. But I'd also say try taking some gaviscon when you're having a spell...be sure to get the "Acid Breakthrough Formula". When I have it, I take that and it knocks it right out.
