View Full Version : Jaw Lump...almost a month out of wisdom surgery...Halp?

I had my bottom wisdom teeth (I was only born with the bottoms) removed a little under a month ago. I had terrible, screaming pain and all seemed to go well 2 weeks in. Until the lump...a hard lump about the size of an egg formed on my right side (the hardest to remove and had a cyst on it..). It got huge and then I went back and he put this clove packing in which caused me more pain because it forced the gum up and I could bite down on it.

The next week he took that out and since then I am in pain and that silly lump won't go away. Just sits there. This is what I get for waiting until I was almost 30 to get them removed.

Anyone else have this experience?

Just bumping this thread because I still have the lump and the surgeon insists that this is normal healing and although I spoke to my GP I am still concerned. Anyone else have experiance with this?
