My 14 yr old daughter has passed kidney stones before so she knows what it feels like but she is having right sided pain and she THINKS this is the same thing. Her CT showed no stone last time so she must have passed the one last time but she is having pain again. My question is : Could she have formed a stone in a few weeks or it was small and was not seen on CT ? She also says she feels like her "stomach is full of water" , anyone else feel like this or know what she is referring to? She has hydrnephrosis{sp} , her left kidney is twice the size of the right and functioning at a lesser degree, not sure what. She had a pyloplasty{sp} at age 11 and a GYN surgery for a large ovarian mass that turned out to be benign {thank God!} 6 weeks before. The CT said no GYN problems either so not that.
