Howdy JD-
Just wondering if you are still here, I am curious as how the Pegasys is going, it has been two weeks for you now, are the sides getting better, how do you feel, would like very much to hear more from you.

Hey there! Yes, I'm still around. Not doing too badly on the Pegasys/Rebetol combo. I took shot 9 last Thursday evening.

The side effect I notice most is that I'm severly fatigued most of the time, and have cut work hours accordingly and possibly may have to stay off work for awhile. My white blood cell count is down to 2 and hemoglobin is dropping now to around 10 (from 16 when I started). The doctor has put me on neupogen for white blood cell rebuilding and B-12 shots to see if that will help the hemoglobin.

I guess, for the most part, I'm doing OK. I don't have the severe headaches, muscle aches, sleepless nights. The only thing I'm dealing with now is just the nasty fatigue! I started yoga classes to help with the stretching, but am scared to death that I will catch something at the healthclub, with my white blood cells being so low right now! But, I'm braving that because the exercise puts me in a good mental place.

Quick question - how long is the typical length of treatment for type HCV type 1A using the Pegasys/Rebetol combination. I'm currently using the Pegintron/Rebetol for 48 weeks.
