My RH factor was very high and an anti-CCP test positive two years ago. One rheumy told me I definitely had RA; another one said no as I have no joint problems. I have always had extreme fatigue. Yesterday I went to the eye doctor and he is questioning Sjogren's. He wants me to see a 3rd rheumatologist. Would you go to a 3rd doctor or just presume both tests were false negative? Whether I have Sjogren's or not, the treatment is the same for dry eye.

Hi, I was just diagnosed recently by an eye doctor with dry eye syndrome
(though I don't think that is the same thing as Sjogren's). I think Sjogrens has some more things involved in it? I really don't know much about it, though. But my eye doctor told me dry eye syndrome can be found along with other autoimmune disease (such as lupus, which ive been diagnosed with). I went to the eye doctor finally, b/c last summer I developed sudden light sensititity and went all this time, with it getting worse for the most part. Plus I was getting just way too many headaches (migraines & others) I wasnt sure, maybe I needed glasses or something, so went to the eye doc and found I have dry eye. He gave me the name of an over the counter eye lubricant to try, which actually seems to be helping somewhat.
