Hey there. I'd like to describe some abnormal things that have been happening to me for a couple of years since I was 16...

*I'm scared when I leave my house because of how people see me, like how I dress and how my skin and teeth are to other people.
*I have no energy to do anything.
*I have sleeping problems.
*I have huge tension headaches and sometimes it feels like I have a huge blackhole in my head, it's tough to describe.
*I feel even worse if a day is sunny and happier when it's cold and rainy =/
*I eat and eat and eat excessively, but I don't put on any weight or fat on =/
*I'm only happy when I day dream about stuff, like how happy I'd be being a millionaire and make up lots of weird fantasies like being a mafia hit man amongst other things =/, I do this a lot.
*I think about suicide a lot, but I don't have the bottle to do it.
*I break down and start crying every once in a while.
*I have what it seems as psychotic episodes; I have no patience with anyone or anything and cannot take things very well, I shout, scream, swear, smash things up, punch my doors and threaten people.

Do any of these symptoms describe any specific mental disorders? It would really help I'd like to do some research, as I don't want to see a doctor...
Thanks.

If I had to guess the majority of what you are describing can be symptoms of a depressive disorder. I would head to my doctors to get a proper screening done.

take care

It sounds to me like you have depression, anxiety and social anxiety. I have all three of those problems and your symptoms sounds very similar to mine. I would go see your doctor as soon as possible, you don't have to live this way.

Sure sounds like a lot of anxiety and depression. Lots of therapy and med options are available and i would look into them if I were you. I joined a CBT group and learned most of my problems were caused by my inaccurate thoughts and once I learned to counter those thoughts in a TEA form I began to feel much better and became more productive.
CBT is self-help so you have to work on your TEA forms for a few minutes (more is better) everyday but if you do it will help you get out of this rut. Read the CBT book by sam obitz and start doing the TEA forms and I think you will feel a lot better and it is lasting relief if you keep at them because you will retrain your brain to keep anxiety and depression away. Good luck!

hey there, don't give up, there's lots of hope and you will get better! There are good threads at the anxiety and depression boards, i have suffered from awful depression, anxiety and ocd myself and overcome them with natural remedies. i used st.john's wort for depression and valerian and passion flower for anxiety and took E-EPA fish oil and Udo's oil (i switched between these) and took zinc, magnesium and a vitamin B complex. these are supposed to naturally balance the nervous system and increase levels of serotonin and dopamin. i gave up gluten, so i am on a gluten-free diet, because i felt gluten made me feel crap physically, but also i think i have an allergy to it that causes me to feel depressed and become anxious after ingesting gluten). i also gave up caffeine and additives and eat sugar very, very moderately. i hope and pray you get better!

This may seem odd, but I experience like exactly the same things. Especially the part about the fantasies, which I could never figure out, and anger fits. I was diagnosed with cyclothymia + psychotic episodes, and when I do have episodes, most of them are depressive rather than manic. Maybe we have the same things? That's all I can think of, sry. :/
