About two months ago I passed out about six times in a seven day period. The doctor changed my meds, saying that they were lowering my heartrate, but he wanted me to go for an EEG anyway. I had an EEG the other day and they called and said it was abnormal. There was sharp waves in the Left temporal side of the brain along with irritable cells. They said they were concerned and have scheduled an MRI of the brain for this coming week. This is all being done thru the Veterans Administration, I am a 34 y/o disabled vet, I got sprayed with chemical weapons in Iraq. So far the only effects of this have been migraines and insomnia, but the EEG readings are really freaking me out. Does anyone have any info on abnormalities on the left hemisphere of the tempoaral lobe? Any help would be much appreciatee. Thanks

If I can remember my chain of command...Whoever was in charge at that location, (the CO?) a briefing (or report incident?) was required to be filed. Hopefully it was not stamped or buried. If you can have it brought up, find if others on site at the time of attack have experienced similar symptoms to what you are showing. IF (huge word in the services) they have determined what the substance was, that can go a LONG way in treating you.
Remember, Military records NEVER go away, they sit and collect dust in the basement. Also pull up medical records from that date or relating to that date if needed to help back your claim.
Thats pending it is not sealed, recycled, or misfiled. And we know that never happens in washington (sarcastic).
All serious, good luck in digging up the records related to that event to help you and or others that may be showing symptoms.
