Well I sent in that letter to my doctor and on friday she called me. She is out of the office next week so she wanted to reply personally. She said she has no idea who runs vestibular tests but she said if i found someone who would run them she would refer me....no idea how to go about that....She also said since I am so sensitive to meds she would like me to just stick to diet and mag-ox for a few weeks before i add any meds and supplements. She is going to send in the request for bloodwork and I can go in any time I have been fasting for 12 hours....She is going to check my thyroid, b12, cholesterol and anemia levels. So it was nice she actually got back to me....anyways stating to feel like I have a cold sneezing a bit and the back of my throat on the left side hurts all the way up to my left ear :(

Great! Sounds like she is helping! Dr. Maxwell in Portland does some tests...but clearly misdiagnosed me...so I am not a real believer in the practice anymore. He is the only one that does those tests in Portland.
Boston is the place I would go...However, I don't know if they will take Maine insurance.
I really think you should save monthly if you can and go into Boston. I think you will really help yourself.
Just my 2 cents.

What tests did he run? Did it show you had a vestibular loss?

Please do a search for my posts...they explain everything.
I have vestibular symptoms caused by migraine. Your symptoms can be caused by migraine, vn/labs injury...head injury...a number of things. They test your vestibular system and nerves. If tests come out normal, they find you have symptoms caused by migraine.
They put you on a strict diet, exercise if possible, and medication.
That's about it.
If you want to get a clear diagnosis. You need to
1. run vestibular tests, and have a neurotologist give you exam.
2. get mri to rule out all other possible things.
3. ran blood test to rule out b12, lyme disease, white blood cell count...and a number of other things.
