hi everyone,I fell in a parking lot a week ago and fell right on my face (yes it hurt bad)anyways i chipped a little piece of the surface of my front tooth, i have a dentist appointment on thursday. does anyone know how they would fix something like this?

hi i shouldnt worry too much about the chip ,what your dentist probably do,is either file the tooth down or depending how bad the chip is he make the tooth up

either way it still be your natural tooth ,so dont worry

If the rest of the tooth is intact and asymptomatic then the dentist may simply bond some tooth colored plastic filling material onto the tooth. Some minimal preparation may be necessary depending on the extent of the chip but it shouldn't be a big deal.
