If you were having sex with your husband before, you can assume you two are now mutually infected with the same strain(s). He can't re-infect you with something you already have so there is no point in wearing protection.
The only need for protection (or avoidance) is if either of you sleep with a new partner, which could introduce new strains and thus new risks.

thanx is there aweb site i can inform my doctor about to prove her wrong. She said that i shouldn't have sex with my husband because he would reinfect me since you say she is wrong i would like to show her a web site to correct her info to other patients. i was sooo sad when she told me that. ifeel better knowing that my sex life can continue
