You know when you are looking at something and you just stop focusing and "space out" for no reason at all?? Well I find myself spacing out ALOT anyone else?? Also anyone ever get a cold where you not snuffly or congested but your throat hurts and a lymph node is swollen...

D&S,
for as long as I can remember I've had the issue of "spacing out". I look at something for more than say 10 seconds and it blurs as if my eyes are crossed.
I've had my eyes checked and tracking is fine. Although the eye doctor I saw had said this spaced out thing happens when you're eyes don't track together. One over-compensates for the other.
Could be a secondary and correlated issue to having dizziness.
It might help you to do the eye tracking portion of a VNG test. If they find you're eyes don't track, they'll have you do some at home eye exercises which could help both eyes to track together, instead of one "spacing out".
Don't quote me, but I've found this to be the case. I have great "far sighted" vision, but can't see anything 1 foot in front of me. I literally walk into stuff that's too close to me because I can't see it, it's so blurred, I don't even know it's there. I believe it's because one of or both of my eyes don't adjust at the same rate from far to close. In other words, they don't track together.

This was my number one problem throughout my illness. I couldn't focus for more than a few seconds at a time, and that was about a year into it. Initially my eyes would either dart around or just space out because they couldn't focus.
I have a bug right now that is exactly what you described, my co-worker has the same exact thing and got it a few days before me; i feel like I have a cold but I'm not stuffed up the way I usually get; its more of a sore throat, postnasal drip, and achiness.
